Windows 11 compatibility checker
Choose your answers: the tool compares your PC with the official Windows 11 requirements (4 GB of memory, 64 GB of storage, TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, recent processor) and tells you what blocks it.
Answer five questions: the tool tells you whether your PC meets the Windows 11 requirements published by Microsoft, and what blocks it if not. No data is sent: the calculation runs in your browser.
Your PC looks compatible with Windows 11. Confirm with Microsoft’s free “PC Health Check” tool, then choose the edition: Home for personal use, Pro for professional use.
A few points remain to check. Run Microsoft’s “PC Health Check”: it answers in one click. A TPM or Secure Boot that is turned off can often be enabled in the BIOS.
Your PC does not meet all the Windows 11 requirements. Check the points below: some can be fixed (BIOS, storage), others cannot (processor). Otherwise, Windows 10 remains an option, with its limits.
- Processor: it must be on Microsoft’s list, generally Intel 8th generation or AMD Ryzen 2000 and newer.
- Memory: Windows 11 requires at least 4 GB.
- Storage: 64 GB minimum.
- TPM 2.0: it can often be enabled in the BIOS (“fTPM” on AMD, “PTT” on Intel).
- Secure Boot: it requires booting in UEFI, not legacy mode.
- Processor: look up its model in Settings › System › About.
- Memory: shown in Settings › System › About.
- Storage: shown in File Explorer › This PC.
- TPM: Windows + R, type tpm.msc; the specification version must be 2.0.
- Secure Boot: Windows + R, type msinfo32; “Secure Boot State” must show On.
